The Y-Team section of the Brigade caters for children aged between 7-10 years. Here at Beverley they meet every Tuesday between 6-8pm school term times.

This section of the Company offers a wide range of activities to suit the needs of this lively and enthusiastic age group. These include

• Introduction to Basic Drill

An opportunity to learn to play instruments in preparation for joining the Junior Band

Camp

One of the highlights of the years is the Y-Team camp held at Filey.

Badge Scheme Change

The Y-Team badge scheme has recently undergone some major changes. Members now work towards collecting awards in four areas. Helping others, exploring the Christian faith, Discovering God's world and Doing Things Together. These incorporate a number of activities and games, including an introduction to team building (a theme continued through the older sections of the company)
